The goal is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they have no legal moves.
Movement
Regular pieces (men) move one space diagonally forward. They cannot move backward.
Jumping (Capturing)
If an opponent's piece is on a diagonal space adjacent to yours, and the space directly behind it is empty, you must jump over it. This captures the opponent's piece, which is removed from the board.
If, after a jump, you are in a position to make another jump, you must do so. This is called a multi-jump.
Kings
When one of your pieces reaches the last row on the opposite side of the board, it is crowned a "King". Kings can move and jump diagonally both forwards and backwards, making them powerful pieces.
